Brian Benson

Senior Pastor

Brian Benson joined CVCC in 2003. He is a graduate of Biola University and Talbot School of Theology. Along with his love for this church, Brian particularly loves being involved in the lives of his boys, along with all different forms of professional sports.

Brian and his wife Gretchen have been married since 1995 and have 4 great sons - Andrew, Noah, Daniel and Joshua.


Jason Andrews

Pastor of Family Ministry

Jason has been on staff at CVCC since 1995. He is a graduate of Biola University and received his M.A. from Talbot Theological Seminary in 1995. When he is cut, he bleeds Lakers and Cowboys, but loves all kinds of sports and outdoor activities.

Jason and his wife Tiffany have been married since 1994 and have two sons, Brady and Caleb.


Nathan Goble

Pastor of Discipleship

Nathan’s passion is to see God’s people make the choice to prioritize their relationship with God above all else. His desire is to assist those who call CVCC home in that process by supporting their efforts to make Gospel-centered study, Gospel-centered community & Gospel-centered service integral parts of their lives.

Nathan is married to his wife Micol and has a two year old son, Ian.


Jan Edwards

Director of Ministry

Jan has a passion for leadership development in all areas of ministry. She has been on staff since 2006 and focuses primarily on communication, staff development and special events along with Women's Ministries.

Jan has been married for 30+ years to her husband, Doug and has two adult children, Kristin & Mark. Jan enjoys football and sports in general. Their family enjoys camping trips to the desert to ride off road vehicles but her favorite vacation is in Maui.


Josh Wenig

Director of Worship

Josh Wenig grew up in Corona, CA where he went on various music mission trips and heard the call to enter full time ministry before college. He attended and graduated from Hope International University in Fullerton, CA with a Bachelor of Music Degree. His internship was done at Rocky Mountain Christian Church in Niwot, CO and he worked for 3 and a half years with Continental Ministries in Ventura, CA.

Josh came to CVCC in April of 2007. He and his wife Jess have a 3 year old son named Britain and a newborn named Chase.


Sue Hilberg

Director of Children's Ministry

Sue joined the staff of CVCC in 2000. Prior to joining the staff, her work experience included a 20 year career at Disneyland and 8 years of teaching at a local Christian elementary school. She graduated from Cal-State Fullerton with a B.A. degree in Sociology.

Sue has been married for 38 years to her husband, Frank, who volunteers as a Sunday School teacher at CVCC. She has two grown children, Chris and Kathie and a brand new daughter-in-law, Natalie. Most of all, Sue loves children!

Her life verse is Proverbs 22:6..."Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”


Ann De Leon

Director of Finance & Facilities

Ann joined the CVCC staff in February 2013. She has been an accountant for 18 years and is currently pursuing her state licensing as a Certified Public Accountant. Ann is part of a large family (11 siblings) that reside in Wisconsin, where she was raised. She loves modern Christian music along with cooking, swimming, gardening and the performing arts.

She is mom to two teenagers, Ben and Margaret, and has lived in Chino Hills since 1996.


Brett Jensen

Director of College Ministry

Brett was brought on staff in March 2012. He graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics from UCSB. After graduation, Brett spent two years interning with Campus Crusade for Christ working in Santa Barbara. He is currently a math teacher at Chino Hills High School, and he is a fan of the Lakers and Dolphins.

Brett and his wife Stephani met at CVCC and have been married since October 2010.


Geoff Mann

Director of Middle School

Geoff was brought on staff at CVCC in June of 2011. He is a graduate of Biola University (B.S.) and Dallas Theological Seminary (C.G.S) and is currently working on a Masters of Divinity at Talbot School of Theology. Geoff has been married to his college sweetheart Kristy since 2001 and has been blessed with four energetic children, Logan, Lauryn, Luke, and Landon.


Helen Hegle

Administrative Assistant

Helen joined the staff of CVCC in 2005. She serves part-time in the capacity of Administrative Assistant.

She has been married to her husband, Steve, since 1996. They have been blessed with two wonderful boys, Christian and Matthew.


Rebecca Scott

Children's Ministry Assistant

Rebecca joined the CVCC staff as Children’s Ministry Assistant in 2007. After attending numerous Bible studies and volunteering in different capacities, she chose to accept this part-time role and utilize her computer and organizational skills while her youngest son is at school. Aside from the administrative duties, she loves observing and interacting with the Kid Zone kids and is very fulfilled by seeing the children grow in Christ.

Rebecca and her husband, Jeff, have been married since 1989 and have three kids, Betsy, Bryson and Ethan, and a wonderful son-in-law, Jace. Their all-time favorite family activity is boating at Lake Mohave. Rebecca enjoys reading and has a passion for music, especially Christian artists.


Stacy Garcia

Early Childhood Coordinator

Stacy joined the CVCC staff as Early Childhood/Special Needs Coordinator in 2008. Prior to joining the staff, she pursued her passion for working with abused/neglected children, followed by 3 years as an infant/toddler special needs teacher. She graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a B.A. degree in Sociology.

Stacy is the proud mom of Marcus, Matthew and Emily , who have all grown up as part of the CVCC family.

Stacy loves working with young children and feels fortunate to be a part of sharing God’s love with CVCC’s little ones.


Becky Lollis

Receptionist

Becky joined the CVCC staff in August 2012 after serving as an office volunteer for two years. Becky has lived in Chino her whole life and is devoted to serving her community through her passion for customer service. She can be found most Sunday mornings at the Welcome Center offering a friendly face and positive first impression for visitors of CVCC.

Becky and her husband Dave have been part of CVCC since 1981. She is the proud mother of two grown daughters and is happily expecting her first grandchild.


Donia Bertolette

Administrative Coordinator

Donia joined the CVCC staff in September 2012 and worked as an Office Manager/Human Resources Coordinator before coming to CVCC. Donia also serves in the Worship Arts ministry and Co-Leads worship for Coffeebreak.

She and her husband Bryan have been married since 1998 and are proud parents to Jonathan, Brandon and Andrew.


Chuck Thompson

Facilities Manager

Chuck joined the CVCC staff in November of 2012. He is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and is a registered Civil Engineer. Chuck enjoys serving in the Club 56 Program, Worship Arts, and fellowship with the Congregation.

Chuck and his wife Emiko have been married since 1995 and have three wonderful children, Mikki, Keili, and Zachary. He enjoys sports and outdoor activities with his family.


Mark Gonzales

Facilities Assistant

Mark was hired on staff after faithfully volunteering here for over 3 years. Mark has been married for over 30 years, has 2 grown daughters, a grown son, and most recently welcomed a beautiful granddaughter. He enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.


Phillip Blazek

Associate Director of High School

Phillip has been a part of the CVCC family his entire life. That and his passion for High School Ministries made for a natural fit when he joined the staff in 2012. Phillip spent time as an intern at Trinity Presbyterian Church in 2010 and then at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church in 2011. His hope for the High School ministry is to be used by God as a disciple and to make disciples for His glory. "High school is an important time in a person's life and I want to be able to point them to Jesus through that time".

Phillip is a graduate of Biola and is currently attending Talbot School of Theology where he is working on his Master's Degree in New Testament.

Phillip and Cristin will celebrate their 1 year anniversary in July.
